CSD provided architectural design services for an exterior and interior remodel to “The Jewelers of Las Vegas” located on Western Avenue. The owners requested an update to their 35-year old building that creates a new face that is representative of their company and symbolizes the transition from the original owners to their children. The new storefront design is clean and inviting, taking visual cues from the materials of their trade. A red feature wall of powdered coated steel plate with a custom diamond motif, white Jerusalem Stone and a solid phenolic panel to bring the warmth of wood to the exterior and provide a dynamic backdrop and focal point for their signage. The materials were chosen for their permanence and ability to weather the Las Vegas extremes. Interior elements echo the exterior providing a sense of continuity and an updated, comfortable shopping experience.
