CSD Architects is working with the Clark County School District to develop an adaptive middle school prototype design which will be used to replace five existing schools. The design allows for future schools to be planned to house both 1,050 and 1,250 student populations. Brinley Middle School will be the initial school constructed followed by Garside, Woodbury, Von Tobel and Brown.

The new middle schools will range in size from 142,000 to 147,000 SF and include sixth, seventh and eighth grade learning centers, centers for administration, resource materials, student activity, physical education, fine and performing arts, theater, arts and technology, and maintenance and operations areas.
