Clark County - Robert 'Bob' Price Park

Location:

Las Vegas, NV

10.5 acres

Size:

This project consisted of upgrading the existing infrastructure at “Bob” Price Park. Unique yet functional amenities were added showcasing a place-making experience within a deserving neighborhood - effectively continuing the master-planned objectives of the original site.

A main feature of the park is a nature playground suitable for all ages that includes natural building materials and nature themed structures that take the shape of rock formations that mimic nearby mountain ranges and have an integral mining theme.

A water play area is incorporated into the central zone of the park which continues the natural rock formation theme and provides trickling water, random water spray, and overhead water elements. A central play structure acts as a beacon for the site and holds the main water play feature - an overhead bucket that dumps water. A fabric shade structure extends over the dry playground area providing ample shaded play surfaces.

In addition to the wet and dry playground areas, improvements also included multiple new picnic shade structures, turf areas, expanded sport courts including four Pickleball courts, additional parking, and a prefabricated restroom.
