This project is located in Symphony Park and comprises two multi-level municipal parking garages, a grade-level retail shell space (approximately 28,500 SF), and off-site and utility improvements.
Symphony Park is the first major open space within downtown Las Vegas and is quickly becoming the city’s urban central park. It is a beautifully landscaped area that encourages outdoor social interaction. Symphony Park is home to The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, and the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. These parking garages support the existing uses and this area’s rapid growth and development.
The parking garages in Symphony Park are functional structures and artistic elements that enhance the park’s aesthetic appeal. Designed with a unique language and aesthetics, they feature distinct colors that serve as wayfinding. The alternating galvanized steel profiles reflect the surrounding environment, creating a dynamic color composition. The colors on the galvanized steel screen are inspired by the iconic Dream Sculpture symbolizing Symphony Park. Moreover, the Symphony Park musical note at the intersection of the prominent corners of each garage adds a distinctive branding element to the buildings.
