W. Rick Sellers, AIA, NCARBRick Sellers is a founding principal/vice president of Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto architecture firm. Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto was formed in 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rick has watched the firm grow from 3 employees to 25 and has had the opportunity to design many notable projects for high end custom residences, public works, federal, commercial, educational, retail, industrial and health care facilities. Notable projects include the University of Phoenix Riverpoint Center, a 660,000 sq ft campus in Phoenix, the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy located in Las Vegas and an addition to the corporate headquarters for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Tucson, which is targeting LEED Gold. As a leader in sustainable design, the firm has 10 projects in various stages of design and construction targeting LEED certification. As Vice President, Rick brings 31 years experience in architectural design. Rick has collaborated with his partners to focus the design studio's efforts on developing state of the art systems, innovating the creative design process and subsequent construction document and administration phases. As a design leader in the community, he was selected as the 1997 AIA Nevada Young Architect Citation recipient. Rick also donates his time to the Boy Scouts of America and the American Institute of Architects serving on such committees as the AIA Committee for the Environment. Over the years, the firm’s goal of becoming a premier architectural firm has been realized through recognition in many state and regional design competitions. Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects has received 86 awards including honors from the American Institute of Architects at the state and regional level.

Steve Carpenter, AIA, NCARBSteve Carpenter is the principal/president and founding architect of Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects (CSDA) architecture firm. CSDA was formed in 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Steve has watched the firm grow from 3 employees to 25 and has had the opportunity to design many notable projects for high end custom residences, public works, federal, commercial, retail, industrial and health care facilities such as the UNLV Hotel Academic Building for the State Public Works Board, City of Henderson Senior Center, targeting LEED Gold, and multiple project for the Bureau of Land Management.
As President of Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects, Steve brings 32 years experience in architectural design. Steve’s major strengths are his sensitivity in assessing the site and surrounding developments, his unique approach to design, and his interest in public buildings. In the past two decades, the firm’s goal of becoming a premier architectural firm has been realized through recognition in many local and regional design competitions. CSDA has received 86 awards in the past decade including honors from the American Institute of Architects at the state and regional level.
The many design awards that Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects has received further quantify Steve's expertise. Steve has also been involved in the AIA Las Vegas chapter serving as a director, chairman of the scholarship committee, and founding chairman of the long range planning committee. He also serves as a guest juror and lecturer for the UNLV School of Architecture.

Michael Del Gatto, AIA, NCARB, LEED APMike Del Gatto is principal of Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architecture firm. As a 30 year resident of Las Vegas, NV, Mike has a strong commitment and love of our desert community. As an architect, he strives to design facilities that respond to our desert environment while continually pushing the edge of architecture. Mike has been part of the local architecture community since 1991. Mike’s architectural experience includes educational, office, retail, public works, federal, recreational and hospitality facilities. Some of his notable projects include the Nevada State College Liberal Arts and Science Building, over 4 million sq ft of projects for the University of Phoenix nationwide, including the U of P Boise, which is targeting LEED certification, and the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy.
Mike is a local UNLV graduate and donates his time to the UNLV School of Architecture serving as a guest juror and has chaired the Scholarship Committee for the school’s Alumni Association. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Las Vegas Chapter of the AIA and on the Board of Directors for Boys Hope Girls Hope. Mike also received the 2006 AIA Young Architect Citation Award and was named one of 2007's Nevada Business Journal 40 under 40. Mike has a strong commitment to mentoring others and leads CSDA’s Intern Development Program. He especially enjoys mentoring local College, High School and Middle School students interested in architecture.
